一 | New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) India's indigenously built nuclear submarine INS Arihant on Friday carried out a successful launch of a Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) that hit the target with high accuracy.

"The missile was tested to a predetermined range and impacted the target area in the Bay of Bengal with very high accuracy. All operational and technological parameters of the weapon system have been validated," the Defence Ministry said.

"The successful user training launch of the SLBM by INS Arihant is significant to prove crew competency and validate the SSBN programme, a key element of India’s nuclear deterrence capability. A robust, survivable and assured retaliatory capability is in keeping with India’s policy to have ‘Credible Minimum Deterrence‘ that underpins its ‘No First Use’ commitment," the Ministry added.

INS Arihant is India's first indigenous nuclear submarine and the flagship of the Arihant-class of nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines that is based on the Russian Akula-1 class submarine.

The 6,000 tonne submarine was built under the Advanced Technology Vessel project at the Ship Building Centre in Visakhapatnam.

三 | 在资格赛上，巩立姣第一轮投出18.74米，随后第二投以19.51米的全场最佳成绩轻松晋级。“我想把最佳状态调到明天。”预赛后的巩立姣霸气十足。

决赛中，俄勒冈大学的体育场，尤金世锦赛主场，给予东道主美国格外的动力。美国选手查斯·伊利第一投就突破了20米大关，成绩达到20.49米，这给予其他选手极大的心理压力。第一投巩立姣投出19.59米，开始向领先者发起挑战，第二投她的成绩提升到19.84米，第三投20.23米，第四投20.08米，第五投20.39米。随着巩立姣的身体越来越热，她也一次次突破20米大关，一步步缩小着差距。可惜最后一投巩立姣的成绩为19.89米，最终没能超越伊利，以0.1米差距获得亚军。而20.39米也是巩立姣的赛季最好成绩。队友宋佳媛以19.57米获得第六名。八次参加世锦赛，多次站上过领奖台的巩立姣，给予外界的印象是“不拿冠军就是失败”。这当然不对。第七次站上田径世锦赛领奖台的巩立姣，她的成绩已足够辉煌：2次冠军、2次亚军、3次季军。这是谁也拿不走的光荣榜。相信巩立姣不会就此善罢甘休。
